Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play music from an early age, along together with her mom. She received more formal vocal training at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. Following her move to the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002, she made her way to southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her passion and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of particularly among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
